Country Bob's Giveaway - CLOSED

GIVEAWAY CLOSED AT 11:59 PM MST 4/10/09. WINNER WILL BE ANNOUNCED SHORTLY.

I recently had the opportunity to sample some Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce.

On my sweepstakes site I see it being given away all the time. I even posted on the forum there asking what this sauce was all about.

First I want to say that this is a very NICE, friendly company to work with. I actually had a coupon for a free bottle of Country Bob's sauce. After looking at the four grocery stores (including Walmart!) I was unable to find Country Bob's sauce in my area.

I let the folks over at Country Bob's know and they immediately sent me out two bottles to try for myself. I mean...within 24 hours I had a tracking number from UPS emailed to me. That's great customer service!

Anyway...I sampled the sauce.

We used one of the recipes that came in the package called "Little Party Bites".

  • Little Smokies (yes we eat them as a meal, not a snack/appetizer)
  • onions (I omitted these...ew!)
  • Country Bob's sauce
Put the smokies in a skillet with the onions, drain then add the sauce. Simple!

The sauce was spicy (not hot!), tangy and tasty and was really a nice change from the regular old BBQ sauce that we use when we have Little Smokies. I think this sauce would be great on grilled chicken or pork chops. It really is quite yummy.

My kids have since used it to dip french fries and chicken nuggets. Ok, I tried it on fries, too! Yum!

Country Bob's sauce is a favorite at our house! We eat it with a variety of things and use it in recipes as well. I went to the site and signed up for a free coupon and tried the sauce as a result of that and I have bought it ever since! The people who work there are very kind, I sent an email to them to say I enjoyed the sauce and they sent me a personal response, not automated and were kind enough to send a couple more coupons my way! I'll be a lifetime buyer....even added to gift baskets for Christmas this year!
