It^s Ain't Easy Being Green
You see it everywhere these days. "Green" cleaning products, "Green" automobiles, "Green" household appliances. It's all about being green and being environmentally friendly.
I think every little bit helps and I think anyone can do it. Without a lot of effort.
Here is a list of simple things you can do...and that I have done...to do my part and get on the right track to living a more natural (green) lifestyle.
- Replace all your standard light bulbs to fluorescent ones.
- Purchase some re-usable grocery bags. Many retailers sell them for as little as $1.
- Recycle your old electronics. Check out mygreenelectronics.org to find recycling resources.
- Use re-chargeable batteries for all your devices.
- Use your dishwasher and washing machine only when you have full loads. Save energy and water!
- Recycle!
- Support your local farmer's markets for fresh produce. No transportation costs = no pollution.
- Use eco-friendly cleaning products. Nature's Source has a great line of products that are all natural and they're reasonably priced too! http://www.
