Boogie Wipes Review & Giveaway - CLOSED

THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED. A WINNER WILL BE ANNOUNCED SOON. THANKS!

Today's topic: SNOT

I have allergies. My kids have allergies. And with three kids in the house, two in public school full time, it seems like the common cold is quite common in our house.

Snot happens. No matter how us moms try to control it, stop it, wipe it...chase our kids around with tissues...it happens.

And this is where I tell you about Boogie Wipes.

Boogie Wipes were 'developed by moms tired of chasing runny noses'.

Boogie Wipes are the latest innovation in a moist wipe product for busy moms, dads & kids. With added saline, they offer quick, gentle, effective relief of stuck on Boogies (mucus) caused by the common cold & allergies.

I had the opportunity to use them (quite a bit) this weekend...bad allergy weekend for my 2-year old. Ok, me too. I used them too.

Boogie Wipes really do work great. Nose wiping (for the boy) was a lot easier. I used the Fresh scent and used the Grape scented boogie wipes on my son. They're gentle on the nose (big bonus!) and they clean quickly and efficiently.

They work so much better than tissues, even the 'lotion' tissues that say they help with irritation from constant wiping.
  • And far better than say...oh a paper towel?
  • Toilet paper?
  • A regular baby wipe?
  • A drive-thru napkin that you dug out of the glove box?

Hey...admit it, you've done one or all of the above in a snot emergency.

Boogie Wipes come in three scents: Fresh Scent, Great Grape Scent and Magic Menthol. They are sold in 30-packs for $3.99 at many retailers.

The package is small enough that you could easily toss it into your diaper bag, purse....or glove box.

They also work well at cleaning little faces, little hands and ballpoint pen off little hands (don't ask).

The lovely ladies over at Boogie Wipes have generously offered one of my readers the opportunity try Boogie Wipes for themselves.

What can you win?
Two packages of Boogie Wipes in Fresh and Grape scent

Ok.. here's a SNOT emergency!

Yesterday, at a soccer game, my youngest had been dealing with a runny nose. Nothing bad, but I had forgotten tissues and baby wipes at home! Unfortunately Mount St. Snot blew. BIG TIME. A glob of goo the size of a small fist was hanging and NO TISSUE! I sadly resorted to ...

My daughter has allergies. Just the other day, she sneezed and had too yucky long strains of mucus hanging out of her nose. I don't think I have ran so fast to the tissue box in my life, while yelling, "Keep your mouth closed!"

These would be great to have for my son. Thanks.

This is such a great product! I'd love to win this one. I host a lot of playgroups at my house and, during the winter especially, everyone's little nose is running. I'd love to try the "on the run" wipes, too!

Thanks for the opportunity!

I use these for my 6 month old son, and love them! I have never actually seen the scented in store though! I'd give them to my best friend, who is due with her first son in 2 weeks!

I'd like Boogie Wipes for myself and my daughter. We both have seasonal allergies and our noses get so raw from regular tissues. This sounds like a great product!

Anytime my son goes swimming he ends up with a runny nose for a few days after because of the pollen on the surface of the pool. All day yesterday and today it's been like Karo syrup on his face!

i would have loved to have had a boogie wipe on hand this past wednesday. my daughter was sick and we were waiting in line at the target pharmacy. my dd had snot comming our her little nose and we just had to sit there with it like that until the pharmacist could bring us our order and check us out. my dd is only 4 and she did so good. i know it was uncomfortable and she refrained from wiping or "licking" it.. thanks for a chance to win. clallen at ntin dot net

i could really use these for my daughter. Spring time is here and she keeps a runny nose because of the pollen.

more about a nose emergency than a snot emergency: my youngest Niamh likes to stick things up her nose. alot! we have recoveed a total of 15 sunflower seeds from her nose over the past month. lol. last night my husband brought home some Sonic fast food, and since Niamh was awake and bugging me, we gave her a fry to munch. we ate our food with her right next to us, and neither one of us noticed anything unusual.
until this morning, when she just kept sneezing.... finally... she sneezed out a hunk of fry she shoved up her nose LAST NIGHT!!!
lol.

I haven't had a snot emergency yet, as my first is due in early August, but I'm sure there are many in my future!

3boyzmom May 09, 2009 11:15 AM

My 2 year old always always has boogies pouring out of his nose!!! He has asthma and allergies, and his poor little face always gets red from the constant wiping! I'd love to try Boogie Wipes instead of baby wipes and tissues!!

Mlanie,  May 09, 2009 11:43 AM

I would love to win this for my godchild!

Well Id actually like the Boogie wipes for the whole family here.

souldolphindream May 10, 2009 5:55 AM

THese sure would come in handy with little boogie incidents. My daughter has allergies and she seems to like to have the trail of snot come out her nose and then come up and wipe it on you then proceed to tell you that she needs a tissue.

souldolphindream@aol.com

thanks

My 2-year-old does not like to have her nose wiped and is especially unhappy about me coming at her with tissues that I've dug out of my pockets when we're out... these would be such an improvement!

Thanks!

My son has RSV so bad he was hospitalized for 2 days, after we came home his nose was running like a faucet. I would have LOVED to have boogie wipes 3 years ago when this happened, they would have been a life savor. We love boogie wipes in our family.

Helen May 10, 2009 10:15 PM

This would be great for my youngest child who has a lot of sinus problems.

ZESTYWONDERLAND May 10, 2009 10:50 PM

These would be great of all my kids!
They often have running noses & dried snot & that's not pretty at places like chruch.
I also love boogie wipes to wipe my eyes in the mornings.
My eyes are almost glued shut when I wake up with eye boogers.
I have dry eyes.
Boogie wipes are also great for a quick face wipe when you're feeling a little greasy!

My twins are always getting these crusty little boogies that are just hard to remove. I'd love to give this a try :)

bndraldy May 10, 2009 11:08 PM

All of us have year round allergies. Somebody always has a "bat in the cave". Don't you just hate it when the little ones blow bubbles out of their noses? Boogie Wipes would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for the opportunity to participate in this giveaway!
