Faryl Smith is an amazingly talented young girl. The 13-year old (yes! only 13!) phenom rose to fame when she appeared on the talent show Britain's Got Talent in 2008.
Her album, Faryl, was released in the UK in February and became the fastest selling classical solo album in the history of the UK recording industry. It is being released in the U.S. on May 5th.
I have to admit I was a little apprehensive to review this album as this is not the kind of music I typically listen to. But I gave it a go and found that I really didn't mind listening to it. If you like Charlotte Church or Josh Groban then you'll probably like Faryl.
She really has a beautiful voice and I'm still in awe over how young she is.

She also sings a lovely version of "Amazing Grace", a cover of John Denver's "Annie's Song" and rewritten version of the ABBA classic "The Way Old Friends Do".
