Got2b Glued Review

My son, Hunter, has had a mohawk for almost a year now. We tried many tricks (aside from real glue) to make his hair stand up...and stay up. We had this whole process that actually involved my blow dryer, hair gel and hairspray. Not necessarily in that order. Hair gel cannot handle a mohawk.

The last time he got a haircut they put some gunk in it at the salon (is Great Clips considered a salon? I just checked, it actually says "salon" on their website). And while it worked well I found that it was rather expensive. $1.00 for a once, maybe two time use packet or anywhere from $8-$12 for larger size multi-use bottles.

I refuse to pay for a bottle of gunk that cost as much, if not more than the actual haircut. Sorry, can't do it...call me a cheap-ass if you will.

Ok, I'm rambling.

I found this stuff at Walmart. It was like $4.99 or something like that.

It looks like glue, feels like glue and I imagine if I actually put glue in my kid's hair that this is the result I'd get.

This stuff makes his hair spike up really easy. You don't need a ton of it to get the results you want. It's water resistant but shampoos out easily. Yes, he's been out in the rain and yes the mohawk stayed put. It stands up to wind (it even says on the package that it's 'wind-tunnel tested'). He's even slept on it and I just had to fix the back a little bit by wetting my hands and re-shaping it.

He is so damn proud of his hair. Who knew $4.99 could buy so much happiness?

Your kid is so cool. Does he really listen to BLS? I love the song "Dead Meadow". It never fails to make me cry.

Haha yep he does listen to BLS. Their dad is the biggest BLS/Zakk Wylde fan.
