Watchdogz Review & Giveaway - CLOSED
THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED. A WINNER WILL BE DRAWN SOON. THANKS!
We all worry about keeping our kids safe. We pound phone numbers and addresses into their tiny little brains at a very young age.
But what if your child were to become separated from you in a very crowded area and was too upset to wrack his little brain to remember Mommy's cell phone number?
I know my 7-year son has a hard time remembering phone numbers (as we've told him he needs to know mine, his dad's and his step-dad's phone numbers). I really think if he were in full panic mode he'd be too flustered to try to remember a phone number.
Thankfully I've never lost track of my kid other than for a few seconds, at a grocery store. But it does happen. Moms blink and kids are running in the opposite direction or have disappeared entirely. It can be scary to turn around and discover your child is not with you.
I was asked to do a review of Watchdogz Temporary Safety Tattoos...I wish I had known about these last year for our family vacation in San Diego.
Watchdogz are kid-safe temporary tattoos that allow you to write a telephone number right on the tattoo. The tattoo acts as a barrier between the skin and the pen's non-toxic ink (included).
If you're familiar with temporary tattoos you know you just place it on the skin, wet the back of it, hold for a few seconds and voila! tattoo!
These work the same way. When I put one on Ethan to try out I actually used a baby wipe and held it firmly against the back of the tattoo. Worked perfect!
The ONLY problem I had...Ethan didn't want to sit still when I tried to write a (fake) phone number on it. And he refused to let me take a picture of it so I had to wait until he was asleep. LOL
To remove the tattoo you just saturate it in baby oil and rub with a cotton ball.
I think these are a neat idea! They can give you a little piece of mind knowing you can easily be reached should your child be separated from you.
Watchdogz come in designs for boys and girls and sell for $8.99 and can be purchased directly from their website. Each kit contains 6 temporary tattoos (2 of each character) and 1 non-toxic marker. The temporary tattoos are safe, made in the USA and FDA approved.
I have one Watchdogz kit to give away one lucky Fairy Blog Mother reader. You will get to pick either a boy's or girl's kit.
Visit Watchdogz and tell me one of the Watchdogz names

Holy cow. What a great idea. I've never seen tattoos like this before. This would be great this summer when we go to the amusement park.
(And one of them is named Angelina)
I already subscribe, too. :)
What a great idea, especially for a vacation or such.
I think Ruby would be cute for the girls.
