Girl Talk Thursday - Sex On Film
I missed out on GTT last week. I was just too busy. And I am late to the game this week, as you'll be reading this on Friday. Oh well, I tried.
If you're not familiar with Girl Talk Thursday head on over to Mommy Melee's blog to read up and participate.
So this week's topic is sex on film.
Who doesn't love a steamy, racy sex scene?
Okay, there are probably alot of people who don't and a lot of people who will never admit that they do.
I can't think of any specific sex scenes that I can write something serious about so I'll tell of a few that bring back memories for me.
I remember the first time I ever seen sex on tv...or sexually explicit material on tv. It was George Micheal's "I Want Your Sex" video. I remember my sister and I watching it whenever it came on MTV and flipping the channel if we heard our parents coming. I even remember being in the same room with my Mom when that video happened to come on and my sister and I looking at each other like "Oh shit!". Mom didn't change the channel...so we sat there and watched like we'd never seen it before.

Wonder what the remake of that video would be like. *ponders* LOL
I also distinctly remember the "girl on duck scene" in the movie Howard The Duck. In the scene Howard pulls a rubber out of his wallet and the girl (played by Leah Thompson, I forget her character's name) acted all surprised that he was prepared for the moment.

Then I asked my Mom what a rubber was and that was how I learned about 'the birds and the bees'.
True story. I couldn't make that shit up.
So I guess sex in movies always takes me back to the day when I had "the talk" with my Mom.
Thank you Howard The Duck.

Haha. That is too funny...
"Thank you Howard the Duck"
I can remember watching something with my dad and when a sex scene came on my dad told me to put my head down and look at my lunch, which happened to be a tuna sandwich. From that point on, everytime there was a sex scene on TV or in a movie it came to be call "tuna time". I then passed that phrase on to my sons as a family joke. Even now, with my sons grown up (18 & 21) we still all joke about it. It's really quite funny if we're watching a movie together to see who says it first.
