Windex Outdoor All-In-One Review

I admit it. I've lived in this house for two and a half years and have never once cleaned the windows from the outside. Honestly, I don't really understand the point. Unless they're seriously dirty then yeah, clean 'em...but within an hour you'll have dust/dirt on them again. Or it will rain. Grrr...

Yep, true story.

I was asked to review the Windex™ Outdoor All-in-One glass cleaning tool through BzzAgent. I thought...why not? Cleaning the windows won't kill me. And it didn't.

Windex™ Outdoor All-in-One looks like a Swiffer...for you windows. All you do is spray down your window with the garden hose, wet the pad and clean away, then rinse with the hose. The pad contains Windex's® Special Sheeting Action Formula...so no streaks, no hand drying. One pad can clean up to 20 windows. The tool itself allows you to reach up to 11 feet.

Most of the windows on my house multi-level home are higher than 11 feet. And I don't do ladders. I cleaned the main window on the front of my house as it was the biggest and best candidate for the job.

The sun shining directly on the window and the tint on the windows really doesn't show how dirty the window was.

Before:

After:

It's really hard to see a difference, but they are cleaner...or were. Until it rained and the wind blew and now they're dirty and dusty just like they were before.

Standing on the ground, without stretching this is how far I could reach the windows on my top level. You can see with a little stretch I was able to get about 3/4 of the window. I'm also 5'10"...so you shorter folks with tall houses...well, yeah. You see where I'm going with it. It's not quite long enough for those taller windows...or shorter people, however you want to look at it.

All in all, I like the idea...but it's really not something I'd use on a regular basis. But that is mostly because the way my house is built and most of the windows being pretty far up. I liked the results I got from it but I was peeved that it rained the following day. LOL

Pros: Super easy to use, no streaking, no hand drying, I could have cleaned all of my windows and my neighbors windows with one pad.

Cons: Not long enough to reach higher windows

Thank you to BzzAgent for this review opportunity.

I have a two story house with lots of windows on the top story so I know this wouldn't work for me unless I used a ladder, but it would help alot because they are super hard to clean and I havent cleaned mine in years....lol

I like your review and the pictures were really great to show us how you used the product. I also liked what you said "Super easy to use, no streaking, no hand drying, I could have cleaned all of my windows and my neighbors windows with one pad."

I thought maybe there was an extender on the pole. Likely I live in a one story! Jennifer isanangel776@hotmail.com
