Guess What? It's Not A Giveaway Post

I haven't done any non-giveaway blog posts in a week? Well, besides this afternoon's Sunday Stealing meme. I have been incredibly busy with the giveaway event, I had to work a 40 hour week last week (oh the horror!) when I normally only work 20.

My wedding anniversary was on Thursday. Dennis and I went out for sushi and it was the best sushi I've ever had in my life. But I say that every time we go for sushi.

We went out to the casino last night, had some alone time...I drank too many beers and passed out at like 12:30 am (which is early for me). We ate some pretty crappy hotel/casino food....like petrified bacon that I actually took a picture of. It was horrible. But I didn't complain because we used casino comps to pay for the meal...which must be why they felt it necessary to give me bacon from Thursday's buffet leftovers rather than fry up a couple fresh pieces for me. LOL




Thankfully, due to the massive beer consumption the previous evening I was unable to stomach most of my breakfast. Only the hash browns and toast were edible...and the toast was still pretty horrible. How do you fuck up toast? Seriously?

Came home, picked up the kids from my sister (she's the bestest...I wouldn't watch my three kids...oh wait...) to find out that my daughter dropped her cell phone in the swimming pool and it was ruined. We only got her the phone a month ago. I wasn't mad, I'm not mad...but sheesh...we bought her a phone for her birthday LAST year. She kept that thing the whole year with no issues, but it was cheap and falling apart so we got her a new (used, actually...but new to her) one for her birthday (7/29) and now toast (ha!) already. Gah! The irony!

And really, the rest of my life has been uneventful. Which is fine by me.

So there's a boring update for you. I've got plenty more giveaways and reviews to do, I feel like I'm perpetually behind on these things.

Oh and if anyone has a freakin' clue what the hell javascript is, how it works and why it suddenly isn't working on my computer...feel free to fill me in. I'm computer-stupid.
