All About Steve Review

There were two good things about this movie:

  1. Bradley Cooper
  2. Popcorn

Mary (Sandra Bullock) writes crossword puzzles for a local newspaper. She quirky and weird and talks too much. She seems a little manic...or something. I don't know. She's just weird.

Mary is set up on a blind date with Steve (Cooper) by her parents. The date ends horribly and she continues to think he's interested in her. She follows him all over the country getting into all kinds of shenanigans and awkward situations.

Really, that's about it.

Sandra Bullock's character is so INCREDIBLY ANNOYING that it really is a shame that her talent is wasted on such a shitty role.

The movie should have been titled:

All About Mary

All About Crazy Chicks

All About Stalkers

All About Really Good Actresses Who Should Know Better Than To Accept Craptastic Roles In Movies That Have Shitty Storylines

I'm glad I only paid the matinee price to see this movie.

The popcorn was SPECTACULAR.

It's times like this when I'm glad that the movies are too far for me to drive to see a shitty movie!
Thanks for the heads up.

I'm glad I read your review before I watched the movie...Although in all honesty, I didn't really want to see this movie anyway.

I'm glad I saw Gamer anyways this weekend lol.... I too wasn't planning on seeing this anyways though yeah Sandra is a pretty good actor usually and I love Bradley. I doubted it would be a good movie anyways just looking at the trailers.

I'll wait until it comes out on DVD or on Showtime, then watch on a Sat. afternoon while I'm on the computer and only 1/2 watch.... It looked kind-of silly from the commercials. Too bad, I love Sandra Bullock. Oh, well.....
