Glade® Sense & Spray Review

Thanks to BzzAgent I was able to try out one of the new Glade® Sense & Spray room fresheners.

I've used other automatic room fresheners before that you can set the time for them to spray every half hour or something. And while they work just fine...what about all those times when you're not home, not in that room and your automatic freshener is just freshening away? Wasting the fragrance and wasting your batteries.

The Glade® Sense & Spray has a motion detector on it. Anytime a shadow is cast over the sensor it will spray. And it locks out for 30 minutes once it has sprayed, so if you walk past it several times it won't continually keep spraying. You can choose to have it spray as well just by pushing the button on the front. Refills last for up to 30 days.

Glade® Sense & Spray Starter Kits are available in Clear Springs® Odor Eliminator, Clean Linen™ and Apple Cinnamon. Refills are available in Clear Springs® Odor Eliminator, Clean Linen™, Apple Cinnamon, Country Garden® and Powder Fresh®.

I was sent the Clear Springs Odor Eliminator Starter Kit to try out. I placed it in my upstairs living room. There isn't a lot of traffic through this room but it is where my front door is. So anyone coming in/out the front door will set off the motion sensor. This room is also where my pets spend a lot of time.

The Clear Springs scent is a crisp and clean and not overpowering. I've had the unit in that room for a little over a month now and it's still working just fine.

What I Like:
  • I like how it's not wasting the fragrance/batteries by constantly going off.
  • It smells good.
  • You can add another spray just by pressing the button.

What I Don't Like:
  • The scent dissipates after only a few minutes.
  • One spray doesn't scent the whole room, just the general area where it's located
  • It scares the hell out of me every time I walk into that room. LOL I'm not used to it being in there and because I don't spend a lot of time in that room anyway the little hiss/spray noise it makes when the motion sensor is triggered startles me every time.

I think the Glade® Sense & Spray would be better placed in my bathroom.  As bathrooms tend to have more traffic and be a bit smaller. All in all I do like it, I'm just going to move it to a smaller room.

Much thanks to BzzAgent for sending me the product for review.

Haha! You sound like me-I would probably jump out of my skin if it spritzed me. Lol
Thanks for the review :)

I was a bzz agent for this product also and felt like you did. I think it would be perfect in the bathroom!
