I'm So Effing Pissed!
That is not even what I want to say. As a courtesy to anyone who might be reading over your shoulder...kids, grandma...I don't want people to open their emails tomorrow and see my newsletter and the title of a blog post reading:

I'M SO FUCKING PISSED!!!
But I am. I am beyond pissed off.
I switched to Disqus for like not even 24 hours and decided to switch back. Disqus was sooooo incredibly easy to set up...but it is A FUCKING NIGHTMARE TO GO BACK!
It will not import any comments from yesterday. All previous comments are back. And any new comments are going through Blogger. But comments left yesterday are sitting in comment limbo somewhere.
When I go to import comments it does this:
That little green box goes back and forth, back and forth, over and over and over.
It ran all night last night. ALL FUCKING NIGHT. Like when I was sleeping. This morning it was still running. I assumed it had malfunctioned, died...something. So I ran it again. For like 6 hours I ran it...those comments are still not showing.
And I'm doing it again now, in hopes that it'll finish...or at the very least blow up my laptop and give me a cool fireworks show.
OMG I'm so mad.
Never, ever, ever, ever again will I try to make things that work just fine "better". If it ain't broke, don't fucking fix it.

Sorry. I had to change my whole blog (partly my fault) but I had backed up my blog to my comp and it won't let me upload it again.
This technology crap is for those who know wtf they are doing!
That's why I have Jennisa! I don't even know what Disqus is. What was it supposed to do?
I'm really sorry about all the crap you've had to go through Annette. I dont blame you for wanting to switch back from Disqus. Sure hope it works for you and soon. Hugs
Blogger is horrible with imports. It always fails. ALWAYS! I have tried to seek their help with importing blog entries and comments through the Blogger/Google Help Forum, and never get any help. It's just awful. They need to fix that import issue.

I wondered what happened. I entered a contest of yours yesterday and I had problems adding comments with this discus. Glad you are back with this one!
What a total crock of crap. Sorry it happened.........hey, your mistake taught me what not to use.

I cannot imagine how frustrated you are. I hate when things like that happen because I feel like I have no control over fixing them...good luck!

have you tried intensedebate? it worked for me, but discus just didn't.
This is a little late, AND a little 'off the subject', but.....I'm so SICK of all the blogs/giveaways/bloggers etc. that give maybe 1 or 2 entries to regular people (like ME!) and then let all the "Twits" from 'twitter', FB, techno-fav, stumble etc. etc. etc. get DAILY entries! Don't they realize that; #1 It has been done so much, most people ignore it( - or so I have been informed by the "Informal" poll of about 22 women @ work ranging in age from 19 - 55.) #2 Some people don't have the TIME to be on a social networking site, but DO get meaning info passed to lots of people (who probably use the shopping info, etc. more than all the twitterers who have basically ignored all those 'Tweets'??!?!?
Just makes me so fucking pissed off to see entry after entry w/'tweet' posted in it!!!
OH -- and another thing ---- I recently found out there are whole WEB-sites dedicated to assisting people who have WON "UNWANTED STUFF" in DUMPING these items, most of the time for $$$ !!!(by entering blog giveaways and "TWEETING" everyday to beat out the others, no doubt!) Now I know that this doesn't apply to EVERYone who "Twitters" and enters giveaways - but COME ON, people -- just how GREEDY can you get? If YOU can't (WON'T?) use it, need it or have a family member that could please leave some of the prizes for those who COULD use it. And just remember - what goes around, COMES around -- someday you might REALLY NEED something, and not get it because of your need to suck-up all the "SHIT" (& YES I did hear/see it referred to as 'SHIT WON on BLOGS THAT I DON'T WANT.) Now I know that this (& my prev. post) aren't going to win me any friends, but HONESTLY - isn't ANYONE else fed up w/this?!?!?!

Oh, man that just sucks big time! I am always so nervous about changing things on my blog because I don't know enough about how to fix things if I screw up. Hope you get everything fixed.
