Bitch & Moan 12/18

It's that time again. Time for me to bitch and moan about all the shit that irritated me this week. Grab the bitch and moan button and post your link so I can come visit and support your bitching and moaning.
So...
- Customer Service:
I posted an entire rant about this earlier this week. Well I've got one more thing to add. (I'm sure this will be an on-going bitch and moan that I have.)
First off...I understand people have children. I understand that sometimes those kids are completely unruly and there isn't much you can you do but wait it out. Trust me, I have one of those kids. But I make EVERY EFFORT I can to quiet my children when I'm on the phone. Especially if it's something important or I need to provide info. If you ask me to speak louder into the phone so that you can hear me, then you TELL ME that I don't have to speak so loudly...well, um, fuck you very much, but you called me. And I'm trying to help you and I understand that your kid won't quit screaming. But either hang up and call back when it's more convenient for you or try to console your child. I'll hold (for up to two minutes, thanks).
- Christmas:
Have I mentioned that I don't have any Christmas spirit this year? I have? Oh, ok...moving on then.
- My new mascara:
I won't name the brand because I really like other products that I've used. And I've bought different formulas of their mascara and not had a problem. I tried a different formula and it flakes, makes my eyes itch and water. And even though it's waterproof I still manage to smear it when trying to dab my watering eyes. I'm tossing it out today. I can't stand it anymore.
- My work hours and days off:
I REALLY hate working from noon to 8:30 PM. But what I hate even more are my days off. My days off are Sunday and Tuesday. How lame is that? I'm off on Sunday, then go to work for one day, have another day off, then go back to work for 4 more days. I'd rather have my days off together or more spread out. On the other hand...I am thankful that I have a job. As I know how bad the unemployment boat is right now...I was in it for a while. So I'll shut up now.
- Oh wait...one more work schedule gripe:
I have to work on Christmas day. From 9:30 am to 6:00 pm. Yuck!
I will get paid mega bucks though. (Really searching for the silver lining on this one.)
So what pissed you off this week?

With Mascara like that who needs enemies? lol
Sorry, I was on the other end of the stick so to say. I needed to talk to customer service today regarding my internet service and the rep I talked to spoke much to quietly and with a foreign accent.
Nobody was making noise and the house was quiet, so the problem wasn't on my end. I had to keep asking her to talk louder so I could hear her and understand her.
She'd do okay for about one to five words and then would start talking quieter and quieter where you couldn't hear her again. So again, I'd have to ask her to talk louder.
She kept telling me to get off internet explorer and I kept telling her I wasn't on it, and I was only trying to get onto msn.
Finally after us going round and round, I handed the phone over to my husband. He dealt with it from there.
Seems the problem was with msn on the DNS error I kept getting.
Apparently it's finally fixed now.
I hate having to call about the internet because my phone service who I have it bundled through won't let you speak right off the bat with the ISP they make you go through a zillion things with them first even though you know it's an msn internet problem and you need to speak with their techs not the phone techs.
Otherwise I have nothing else to gripe about.
Have a Merry Christmas.
Sorry you have to work Christmas.
I had to work on Christmas many times, so I know what you're feeling there.
Oh, I always love when you call people and you can't really talk because the kids are in the background screaming their heads off....It's SO wonderful O.o
I no longer call my friends who have children because apparently all their children have a sixth sense and wait all day to talk to their mom at the very moment I need 5 minutes of her time.
And my mother wonders why I don't want children.
Sorry about the mascara... it's the one necessary eye make-up and you really need to get it right!
I have called several customer service lines in the last week, and have had really nice people, but the last one did not help me, so I'm a little down on CS right now, so I cannot feel sorry for you right now - sorry! But I do always wait until it is quiet and I have nothing else going on before I call... I just hate when they do not speak English.
Glad you get to make mega bucks for working it, but it REALLY sucks that you have to work so many hours on Christmas day! Hope everyone is at least nice to you!
