Sunday Stealing 12/27
1. What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before?
- I helped a woman deliver her baby in the back of a taxi cab.
- I rescued a litter of kittens from a burning building.
- I adopted orphans from all over the world...Brangelina style.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't make resolutions. I'm not the long (or short) term goal kind of person. I'm more of an "immediate results" kind of person.
3. How will you be spending New Year's Eve?
Working until 8:30 PM, then probably sitting on my couch until midnight or so. Exciting, eh?
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No. And if they did...well I DIDN'T DO IT!
5. What countries did you visit?
Just the one I live in.
6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
A normal job with normal hours.
7. What date from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
The night Chicago died. (I heard my Mama cry...)
(Yeah, most won't even get this...and I know it has nothing to do with the question but I couldn't think of a real answer. So deal with it...)
(Yeah, most won't even get this...and I know it has nothing to do with the question but I couldn't think of a real answer. So deal with it...)
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
My (imaginary) Nobel Peace Prize.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Lying about adopting orphans, delivering babies in taxi cabs, rescuing kittens and that pesky Nobel Peace Prize.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I hurt my knee doing something...and I had to go to physical torture therapy . It's still not healed. And I refuse to pay anymore money to the Physical Torturist Therapist.
Better than last year's epic injury that involved the Wii Fit and 3 months of chiropractic care. Imagine my humiliation admitting I'd injured myself playing a video game. I should have lied.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My anniversary trip to Las Vegas.
12. Where did most of your money go?
I'd like to say I donated it to charity, gave it to orphans...or even gambled it away on the above mentioned trip to Vegas. But most of it went to bills. *sigh*
13. What song will always remind you of 2009?
3 Oh! 3 - Don't Trust Me
*Shush girl...shut your lips....do the Helen Keller...and talk with your hips*
14. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Adopting orphans, rescuing kittens, winning Nobel Peace Prizes and delivering babies in the back of taxi cabs. (and gambling)
15. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Lying. Compulsive lying.
16. What was your favourite TV program?
First off....it's FAVORITE.
And the only shows I watch regularly are Roseanne, Forensic Files, American Idol, 90210 and Melrose Place. Yes, my life is THAT exciting.
17. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Yep. And I won't say that I didn't hate them before, I just didn't hate them as much.
18. What was the best book you read?
Happy New Year - ted.
19. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Where have they been all my life?
20. What was your favorite film of this year?
Hands down, the best films of the year.
Oh...and I liked Whip It, too.
21. What did you do on your birthday?
I don't remember. Maybe went to Wendover or dinner or something.
22. What kept you sane?
Zoloft. Xanax. Beer. (in no particular order)
23. Who did you miss?
Little Grandma
24. Who was the best new person you met?
Does it count if you're only "friends" with them on Facebook?
25. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2009:
Don't lie about winning Nobel Peace Prizes, rescuing kittens, delivering babies in the back of taxi cabs or adopting orphans.
*Just so you all know. I'm not a compulsive liar. I lied about being a liar.
