Maaaaan....I like this layout, but I can't deal with that being there.
I may have to download a new layout. That is just not acceptable.

Broken Puppy!

That is the name of our band on Rock Band.

There are four original members of the band. The band is most famous for their crazy antics, horrible vocals and lack of fans.

Their hit (aka 100% on vocals...on EASY) songs include:

Creep (Radiohead)
Wanted Dead or Alive (Bon Jovi)
Black Hole Sun (Soundgarden)
Roxanne (The Police)
Don't Fear The Reaper (Blue Oyster Cult)

The only decent group shot. The lead singer (Annette) refused to be photographed with the band for fear of being arrested for indecent exposure (pajamas, sloppy hair and no make-up).

Broken Puppy in action: Autumn on drums, Hunter on guitar and Ethan on...fake guitar.

Known as the smart-ass teenager of the group, Autumn smirks at the paparazzi. Luckily that is all she did. She's known for throwing the finger (her pinky!) at everyone.

Ethan on stage. He's had a little bit to drink (milk!) and can't even tell how to play his guitar the correct way. It was also past bed-time, hence the glazed over look in his eyes. He denies any drug and alcohol use and has never been to rehab.

Hunter is the craziest member of Broken Puppy. He often gets frustrated with Ethan. This time he'd had enough and he stole his guitar from him.

The fans went crazy as Hunter smashed the guitar to the ground and it busted in half. (it was already broken)

He looks so proud now, but....

Seconds later he was showing remorse. (In the background - a crazed fan stormed the stage)

Ethan, trying to revive his prized instrument.

No use...Ethan's prized guitar is off to plastic guitar heaven.

Ethan became so upset over the destruction of his guitar that he polished off a full sippy cup of milk and passed out next to the stage.

Broken Puppy will not be going on tour. Ever. They only do private shows in their own home.

My Job

Like every mother, I want the best for my kids.

I want them to grow up, get married, have babies of their own, have wonderful careers, endless amounts of money.

I want them to be content with their lives. To be glad to wake up in the morning and be grateful for the things that they have been given. I don't want them to struggle or fail in anything they do. I want it all to be easy. I want accomplishments to be challenging but obtainable. I want them to smile and laugh. I want them to be compassionate and caring. Loving and loyal. Sweet and sincere. I want them to always walk with their heads held high. To never feel defeated.

It is my job to make sure these three little people that I've created become the best big people that they can possibly be. It is my job to guide them and support them. Teach them to be compassionate and caring, loving and loyal, sweet and sincere.

I must walk with my own head held high and never feel defeated in order to teach them the same.

It's my job to make sure they feel exactly the way I feel right now.

I'm content with my life.
I'm grateful for the things I have.
I smile and laugh often.

I can't make everything be easy. I can't say I haven't failed. But I have many accomplishments that I am proud of. And that is what I have to teach them, despite what I want for them.

I am genuinely happy. And that is what I genuinely want for my children.

That is my job.

"C" is for cookie...

It's all about Sesame Street at my house these days.

Ethan sportin' his Cookie Monster shirt and a look on his face that is all trouble.

Don't let this face fool you...it's pure evil, I tell you!

Giving some smoochies to Elmo. Or "Memmo" as he calls him.

The beloved "Memmo" blocks. He has a love/hate relationship with these.
When they don't stay together he gets PISSED!
When they don't fit together with the other blocks he gets PISSED!

So, yeah. We watch Sesame Street all day. Along with The Wiggles and the Yo Gabba Gabba creatures, Elmo (Memmo), Big Bird (Buh-bud) and Cookie Monster (Tee-Tee = Cookie) are honorary members of our family.

Just tonight Ethan started singing the "C is for cookie" song.

Or "tee *babble/gibberish* tee-tee".

Seriously!?!

You have got to be kidding me.

My husband found out he has severe sleep apnea. He went in tonight to be fitted for his CPAP mask/machine.

He just sent me this pic via text message.

How in the hell are you supposed to sleep with that contraption on your face?

How in the hell am I supposed to sleep next to a spaceman?!
