Bitch & Moan 2/19

Fairy Blog Mother

Time to bitch and moan.  Most of you know how this works...
But if you're new:  Grab the button and leave a link to your post in the comments section...or just bitch away in the comments area.

So I've got a long story...

I took Ethan to McDonald's for breakfast yesterday morning. After being sick all week and cooped up in the house he needed to go run around PlayLand for an hour or so.

So we get inside and I get in line to order breakfast and this guy comes up behind me, he had already ordered his food and was coming up to complain about something.

He butted in front of everyone and said he'd like an order of pancakes. He was holding a styrofoam container in his hand. He opened it and stated that he'd ordered the breakfast without pancakes but didn't realize it was only a $.30 difference in price....so he'd like the pancakes now.

Well they rang up the pancakes and it came to like $2.90. He tried to argue with the kid behind the counter...all the while waving his already half eaten breakfast platter in his hand, that he shouldn't have to pay full price for the pancakes. He should only have to pay the $.30 difference.

He held up the line for several minutes trying to argue his point about it only being a $.30 difference. While the counter person argued back that he'd already eaten half of the breakfast and that you can't change an order you've already placed, paid for and eaten most of.

The guy stormed off to go sit with his wife and kids...in the PlayLand area (joy!)...where I had the pleasure of listening to him tell the whole story to his wife.

I mean...seriously now...what he was wanting them to do was beyond ridiculous. I could see his point maybe had he not already eaten most of the food without complaint. Or even if he'd paid, realized and had them change the order then.  But parading around the dining area, bitching up a storm because you want pancakes for THIRTY FUCKING CENTS.

I was embarrassed for his kids. Sorry kiddos...but your daddy is a douchebag.

And a short story...
I took a week off work and have been sick the entire time.  End of story.

So what pissed you off this week?

There are those people, I'll tell ya! You just have to cope with the situation or politely (or maybe not so politely) tell them off.
Either way that's, unfortunately, life >.<
At least you finally got your food! Lol

It's those kind of people that make me happy to no longer be in the food service industry.

And because of this awesome idea for a weekly thing, I brought an old blog back to life and posted my Bitch and Moan there. Thanks

Some people just don't have any class - or just don't think.
Don't get me started!!
LOVE your blog!!

You gotta love people who have to be "idiots", especially in front of their children and other peoples children.
Hope Ethan had fun playing at McDonalds.
