Monday Moments - Week 1 - Giveaway - CLOSED

So I'm doing a new thing over the next four weeks called Monday Moments. I will post an image/blog post about what I did on Monday to get a little bit of relaxation for myself. Even if only a few minutes I'll share what I did to get away.
Over the next four Monday's I'll post my Monday Moments post and I invite you all to tell me about your Monday Moment in comments or link to your blog post. By doing so you'll automatically be entered to win a 4-pack of Starbucks Frappuccino Light (two Vanilla and two Mocha) and a $10 Starbucks gift card.
At the end of the four week run I'll draw one winner from the combined entries for each week. That winner will have the opportunity to be featured here on Fairy Blog Mother as well as the Starbucks prize package.
So yeah, I know this thing is called Monday Moments and here it is 9:52 on Wednesday morning. I've been a little preoccupied lately...obviously.
But what did I do on Monday?
Monday evening after everyone was in bed, I stayed up late (like I always do) and worked on a prize for one of my readers. I don't spend nearly as much time as I used to (or that I'd like to) doing digital scrapbooking, photo editing...or customizing blog layouts. It's something that I really enjoy doing and I enjoy doing it for other people.
So, I stayed up, later than I normally do...because I wanted to. Because I was truly having a good time working on the project. I must say I cannot complain about lack of me time that day (even though it technically ran in to Tuesday...and I was tired the next day). But it was nice to just chill and let the creative juices flow and put the whole thing together for my winner.
And you can see the finished (almost) product here. (Yeah, I know I posted this image in a blog post earlier but this is what I did on Monday!)
I was sent a 4-pack of the Vanilla Frappuccino Light's to review. Now, I'm not a fan of coffee at all. I admit that. And these really didn't do much for me in that sense. My daughter loved them though. She loves coffee and was all too excited about getting to try them out. To me...it tasted like coffee flavored milk. Which I am not a fan of either one. But they didn't taste bad by any means. This is just me...I'm that weirdo who doesn't like coffee flavored anything.
For the giveaway:
Post a comment here telling me what you did to catch a few minutes of "me time" on Monday.
That's it. One entry per person per week. Winner will be drawn from COMBINED entries for all four weeks.
Winner will be drawn on April 12, 2010.
Giveaway open to US residents, 18+
Much thanks to YouCastCorp for this fun review and giveaway opportunity.
The "I don't like fancy lingo" disclaimer:
I received a free item(s) in exchange for a review. These reviews are my opinion(s) and any compensation received did not sway me to say nice things about the product/company. What you read is what I think.

My Monday was pretty wonderful. My son and his wife both worked so I had the house to myself (well, if you don't count the pets). But I did also get "me time" by taking a walk with my dog.

Your Monday sounds so nice! I am such a technolotard I would never be able to do that to relax!
The highlight of my Monday was turning off everything and wtching "24" for an hour. Its not relaxing persay, but it is my "me time"
This past monday 3/15 was our 13th wedding anniversary and although we had gone out on Sunday morning for brunch to celebrate, my hubby didn't want me to have to cook dinner that night. He said it wasn't really taking me out for a romantic dinner, but we had a GC for Outback so he took me out so I didn't have to cook and clean up.
i don't like coffee flavored anything either, but i'd love to win these for my husband. i didn't have to work until 3:30pm on monday, so i slept in and then made a nice lunch.

On Monday evening, I managed to squeeze out of the house without the kids and go do yoga. That's JUST for me. And I feel really good and relaxed after I do it.

For my me time I went in a quiet room and set up a mosiac picture frame and just felt relaxed playing with my glass and no one bothering me and being creative in the quiet.

To get up a few minutes earlier than the whole house, so I can have a short "me time" on the chaotic Monday!

One of my best moments on Monday or any day is when I climb into a deep, hot bubble bath with a great book or a new magazine....so relaxing!
