Quit Gettin' Your Panties All In A Bunch
Apparently some people don't like what I have to say. Like I didn't know this already. Can you see my broken heart? </sarcasm>
But sadly some feel it necessary to tell me about it. And to avoid any further harassment I've had to REMOVE A POST FROM MY BLOG.
The Sunday Stealing post that was in yesterday's email is now gone. I received some emails and anonymous comments that were down right rude and pushy. I also received a very NICE compliment on how refreshing it was that I didn't choose the safe 'politically correct' answer (thank you!). I don't think I said anything overly offensive as I know how touchy some of the topics are, I even mentioned that in the blog post. But I also never tried to push my opinion down anyone's throat.
If you have an issue with me or my blog...DO NOT email me about it. Quit hiding and leave a damn comment. And don't be anonymous either, you pansy.
It's not okay for anyone to contact me telling me what they don't like about my blog. What I should or shouldn't be blogging about. Or pushing what you believe in by throwing a bunch of links in an email and sending it off to me or leaving all that crap in a comment.
My blog. My rules. My opinions. Don't like it...unsubscribe and quit coming here. People unsubscribe every day and you don't hear me bitching about it. I know I'm not some squeaky-clean mommy blogger. It was never my intent to be one. And I know some are put off by my crass-no-holds-barred-don't-like-it-well-there's-the-fucking-door type attitude. I've been told that people don't like that I say FUCK on my blog.
You can see how far that went...
Why waste the time emailing me this information? I sure as hell ain't going to lose any sleep at night over it. And I sure as hell am not going to change my attitude and be all sugary nice to please anyone. That's not who I am. On the other hand, I try to be careful to not hurt feelings, be disrespectful or offend anyone. I know things will be taken out of context no matter how hard I try to keep it on the neutral. I can't please everyone.
I didn't ask you to come read my blog. I didn't ask for you to email me info and links on whatever subject you felt it necessary to contact me about. I appreciate all of you that do read and do leave comments. And I don't expect everyone (or anyone!) to agree with me and things I do/say. But to bash me in comments and spam my email inbox for it is utter bullshit. Especially when YOU are the one that came here.

Right on! I get em some times too or just rude comments the comments I publish! It is a free country and we ALL have the right to speak our minds. But like you said dont be a coward come forward and claim your "opinions"!
LOL...LOVE IT. I totally agree! I'm the queen of my blog. I did not see the post that caused a riot...darn! lol. I love strong minded individuals even if we don't see eye to eye. So keep up the good work and keep telling everyone how your feel. That's one right we still have so let's use it while we still can.

Wha huh? I'm pretty sure I read your Sunday Stealing and I didn't see anything there that would have been a target for the crazies. Did I miss something?
I actually find your blog very refreshing as you don't take the pc approach to everything. Which is something that I also try not to do. But I really admire your willingness to be so 'vocal' about everything.

I'm all for having an opinion and voicing it when occasion calls, but in this case if someone doesn't agree with what your saying, it just takes two minutes (give or take) to stop following and unsubscribe.

Now i find you extremely entertaining and you sound like someone i would hangout with. I say you should keep doing what your doing.
I think it is stupid for people to do that. If they are offended in any way, they can unsubscriber or even just close that post if they otherwise like you. I happen to enjoy your honesty.

I love what you do, what you say, and how the hell you say it! It is so refreshing having someone who is so comfortable with themselves and with their opinions. In this politically correct world, I find that we lose ourselves. We are constantly expected to censor ourselves and make sure that what we say will not offend anyone. It is sad and I wish more people were understanding that we all have a right to say what we want and to express ourselves....don't lecture me...i'm not lecturing you. Annette keep on doin what you are doin. LOVE IT!
that's what makes for a good blogger your opinion your blog no one is going to like everyone and who cares I hate those anonymous comments I havnt been reading your blog for long but I like it...keep on doing what you do and who cares what anyone thinks its your blog :-)
AMEN! Whether it be blog or in life, no one should feel they have the right to tell you what to say or think. Your opinions are just that, opinions, and you are certainly entitled to them!
you know what is so unfortunate? there are umpteen blogs out there and obviously they know of them hehe because they sent you the link, but if everyone were the same why do we need blogs, when we could just read the one/ones "they" pointed out!

I think this is hysterical... I actually posted on your Sunday Stealing that it was one of the things that I liked the BEST about your post was the fact that you were so honest on your answers. I also didn't agree with one of your opinions but I didn't find it necessary to berate you or think I was right, because that is what it is - an OPINION.
