Saturday 9 - I didn't let the good one get away

Saturday 9: Letters From the Sky

1. Do you believe that we will ever be contacted by beings from another planet?
I don't like thinking about that.  It creeps me out.

2. Have you or a family member ever traced your family tree?
I think maybe my grandmother did.  I like hearing about it...but have no interest to go digging myself.

3. Did you ever consider an acting career?
Maybe when I was like 8 years old.

4. What is the funniest situation you’ve witnessed in a religious setting?
When I was married to my ex-husband we went to church with his parents so they could show off they're new grandbaby (our daughter).  They put on some weird show for us where the priest? would touch people's foreheads and those people would break down crying.  The priest? was dancing in the aisle..."healing" people.  It was creepy more than it was funny.  I thought that kind of stuff only happened on tv.

5. What's the first movie you remember ever seeing in a theater?
E.T.

6. What's the most difficult confession you've ever had to make?
Um....I used to like New Kids on the Block when I was a kid.  I loved Joey.  There...I said it.

7. What is a city that you have visited and hated?
Holdenville, Oklahoma.  I don't even think you'd call it a city...more like a dot on a map.  I lived there for a whopping six weeks and rode a bus for three days to come back.  It sucked that bad.

8. Has anyone in your life been "they one who got away"?
I don't think so.  Looking back on my life there isn't one person who I think I should have ended up with.  Some of them are puke-worthy.

I'm happy where I'm at...I didn't let the good one get away. That's what shackles and chains are for.

9. Why do you think the 10 foot duck walked into the bar on Thursday Thunks?
I'm still trying to figure out of Berleen is a real person or not.

You are wondering if Berleen exists. Harriet is wondering if Crazy Sam exists. Now I am wondering if I exist... ;)

I'm wondering about a few of these meme writers myself....

Bet you're glad the ex is just that- an ex :)
