Zippity Doo's - Head Lice Prevention Hair Products - Review + Giveaway - CLOSED

WINNER: #19 - Terra H.

Head lice.

I never thought I'd talk about it here.
I never thought I'd have to deal with it.

I remember in school they'd do the lice checks on a periodic basis.  Those ladies wearing gloves digging through your hair with those oversized cotton swab type things.  Ugh, how I hated those lice checks.

About ten years ago I had my first head lice experience.  My daughter got it from daycare.  And in turn I ended up getting it.

I remember how big of a pain it was combing through our hair removing the nits with those lice combs (ouch!).  We had to wash bedding and clothing on a daily basis.  Spray our furniture with lice spray, bag up all the stuff animals.  It was a NIGHTMARE.  I remember crying while my ex-husband combed through my hair.

Then back in August of 2005 both kids came home from daycare with it.  I went into full on panic mode as I'd remembered the ordeal we had to go through a few years back.  Now I had two kids to deal with...it was the week before my wedding...oh, and my freezer went out...the freezer that had all the prepared wedding food in it, but that's a different story.   So yeah, I freaked out.  And shaved my son's head (he already had a buzz cut anyway, so this wasn't a big deal...but you can't do that with girls).

Head lice is not fun to deal with.  And despite what anyone thinks that you have to be dirty or whatever to get it, that is not the case.  Head lice is actually more attracted to clean hair.  And it spreads so easily, especially in schools and daycares.

Even though we've not had to deal with head lice in quite a few years (knock knock) I jumped at the chance to try Zippity Doo's Head Lice Prevention Hair Care products.

Zippity Doo's hair products are pediatrician approved, mild enough for daily use and best of all...help prevent lice infestation.

All products are made with all natural, organic ingredients.  Safe for both children and adults.  The products aren't sticky and they smell good!

We received:
The Shield Spray is a nice bonus as it can be sprayed in hats, helmets and pillows to keep head lice from being passed from one person to another.

One lucky Fairy Blog Mother reader will win the same products I received.

I learned that Zippity Doo’s™ Shampoo is made with a special combination of natural ingredients designed to promote healthy hair and scalp while helping prevent the infestation of head lice and other insects.
My daughter caught head lice last year from school and it would be nice to start preparing to stop it before it starts up again.
