It's something that I enjoy doing.  The templates that Blogger offers are boring...and I need more practice.  Creating blog designs just for the hell of it doesn't appeal to me.  I'd rather do it for somebody.

1. Have you ever been on a date and you had to tell the person to just go away?

Yes.  I did that with Dennis...but he was just so smitten with me the moment he laid eyes on me that he couldn't stay away.  He'd call all the time, drive by my house, follow me around.  Finally I just decided that it would be easier if I married him and had kids with him.  It's all about convenience you know...*lies*

2. Do you wish you were someplace else right now? If yes, where?

My bed.  I'm tired. 

Or Vegas...I bet I wouldn't be tired if I were in Vegas.

3. Do you have any pet peeves?

PEOPLE WHO WRITE CHECKS! It's called a debit card...get one.

4. Tell us about a guilty pleasure of yours.

I watch iCarly.  And I like it.

Ok...I love it.  I DVR it.

I have never wanted to see two teenagers (Carly & Freddie) be boyfriend/girlfriend so bad before.  And the episode with Fred where they're freaking out about cabbages...I laugh so hard I almost pee.

I'll shut up about iCarly now.

5. If you could change places and become a celebrity, who would you'd like to be?

Whichever one is dating/sleeping with Kid Rock

 

6. What do you consider your biggest talent?

I've mastered the art of sarcasm. 

7. Do you have a favorite actor/actress that is not a big star, yet they are your favorite?

I really love Seth Green.  I've loved him forever.  He's not ginormously famous but he's famous.  And I'm easily 12 inches taller than he is. 

8. Name your five favorite rock bands of all time.

The Doors, Kid Rock, Pink Floyd, Stone Temple Pilots, Metallica

I love way too many bands...I'll probably come back and change this later.

9. If you were to start a new relationship (for whatever reason), how much of your sexual history would you share? Would you resort to lying?

All of it.  Why lie?  I have nothing to hide.  I'm a virgin anyway.

Bitch & Moan 2/26

Oh my...it's been a long week.

You all know how to play the game...grab the button, leave your link to your post in comments or bitch away in the comments.

So...I went off on a total rant about unsolicited parenting advice yesterday. I'm still a little bit pissed off about that. I mean seriously, who the fuck do they think they are to tell me what I'm doing/not doing right with my kids. Ugh...I must move on from this.

 I'm a little pissed off at myself for posting my thoughts on Tuesday nights American Idol.  I still haven't had a chance to watch Wednesday's episode...or the results.  So much for my bright idea of posting about the top 24 rather than the top 12.  I suck.

And now I have a story for you....with pictures! Yaaaaay!

I'm kind of pissed off at my car. 

Why?

Because it hit me. 

Without warning at all, the door just flung open and slammed me in the face.

Ok, so it didn't exactly happen like that. Now, please don't ask me HOW THE HELL THIS HAPPENED...because I honestly don't know. Just be grateful that I'm sharing this now comical moment with you.

I opened the car door and I obviously was not paying attention to what the hell I was doing. The top corner of the car door hit me in the face...my lip. I have a fat lip, it's slightly bruised and my lip is cut on the inside of my mouth. It hurts worse than it looks. Dennis said he can hardly notice it at all. Me...I feel like there is a marble stuck in my lip and that it's this huge throbbing, pulsating mass.

I'm thinking of contacting Petsmart to ask if they have video cameras in their parking lot.  As I'd kind of like to see how the hell I did this.  I do not however wish to see myself sitting in my car with tears streaming down my face and my mouth bloodied as I examine the damage in the rear view mirror while Ethan babbles from the backseat "Mommy got owie?  Mommy?  Owie?".   

We'll skip that part.

Quit calling me a drama queen...it hurt like a SUMBEYOTCH.  It still hurts.  I just hope it doesn't bruise or swell anymore.   I already have Angelina Jolie-ish lips, I don't need any help in that department.

Just point and laugh.  It's ok, I can handle it.  I'll bitch and moan about that next week.

e.l.f. Cosmetics Giveaway - CLOSED

I have been using e.l.f. products for quite some time now.  The quality is great, the prices are even better.  The eyelash curler that I ordered from eyeslipsface.com two years ago is THE BEST eyelash curler I've ever had and it cost me a whole dollar.

I was sent two of the mineral eyeshadows in Wild and Trendy.  The Wild color is a rich chocolate brown with just a hint of shimmer and the Trendy is a shimmery, sheer golden color.  I also received the e.l.f. Eye Shadow Brush which makes applying these mineral shadows easy.  The shadows blend easily and the brush bristles do not fall out like some other make up brushes I've used.

I was also sent the Waterproof Lengthening & Volumizing Mascara in Dark Brown.  I'm pretty picky about mascara as my eyes are really sensitive to many of them.  I've found two that I really like and I've pretty much stuck with them every time.  Whenever I buy another kind I usually end up with itchy, red, watery eyes.  But this mascara didn't bother my eyes.  And even though it was waterproof it still washed off easily and didn't tear out my eyelashes.  I usually spend anywhere from $5-$8 on mascara depending on where I buy it from.  The e.l.f. Waterproof Lengthening & Volumizing Mascara is a whopping $3. 

And last, I received the Super Glossy Lip Shine with SPF 15 in the color Juiced Berry.  Super glossy.  It smells good, tastes good (I know you're not supposed to eat it!) and lasts a long time.  It doesn't leave your lips feeling gummy or sticky.  Just super shiny with a hint of color.  The color is so subtle that I think I could wear any of the colors this gloss is available in.  And for only $1 each I can afford to buy and try them all.

Many items on the e.l.f. website are only $1.  Where else can you buy quality cosmetics for one dollar?  And the mineral makeup starts out as low as $3.

The Sugar Kiss line of products are sassy and edgy and come in fun and funky colors.  Sugar Kiss items priced as low as one dollar.  While the Studio line of products are luxurious and professional...but that doesn't mean they carry a hefty price tag. (pssst! they're only three bucks!)

They also have a line of bath and body products such as cleansers and moisturizers.
